RICHMOND, VA, USA, Mar 6, 2018 – This just in—the newly released Desktop Metal Studio System arrives at TriMech’s Middletown, CT office! There has been a lot of buzz about what Desktop Metal is bringing to the market with metal 3D printing, and we couldn’t be more excited to start working with the Desktop Metal Studio System.

Desktop Metal is reinventing the way manufacturing and engineering companies produce metal parts. The Desktop Metal Studio System is an office-friendly metal 3D printer, and it is the only end-to-end metal 3D printing system that is cost-effective for engineering groups. Unlike laser-based systems that selectively melt metal powder, the Studio System printer extrudes bound metal rods—similar to how a plastic FDM printer works.

CTLeft to Right: Rich Annino, Morgan Schwartz and Marcel Matte are thrilled to add the Desktop Metal Studio System to TriMech’s 3D printer lab in Connecticut.
