PTC Names Jamie Pappas Divisional Vice President of Asia Pacific Sales and Distribution
Bangalore – September 3, 2014 – PTC (Nasdaq: PTC) announced today it has named Jamie Pappas as divisional vice president of Asia Pacific Sales and Distribution. In this role, Pappas will have strategic sales leadership and general management oversight responsibilities for PTC’s operations across Asia, including the company’s facilities in China, India, Korea, and Taiwan. Mr. Pappas will be based at PTC’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China.
“Jamie is an experienced and trusted PTC sales executive, bringing 20 years of PTC sales experience and accomplishment to his new role,” said Robert Ranaldi, PTC’s executive vice president of Worldwide Sales and Distribution. “He has proven ability in delivering value to customers as well as working cross functionally across PTC’s business units around the world. Additionally, he has established solid relationships with field sales leadership that he will leverage as he leads PTC’s Asia Pacific region.”
Pappas joined PTC in 1994, and has since served in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s sales organization. Most recently, Jamie has had the responsibility for worldwide Retail, Footwear and Apparel (RFA) revenue, customers, and partners – during which time, he increased sales in this category by over 300%. PTC is now a global leader in the Retail PLM Market.
