A leading Dassault Systems SOLIDWORKS VAR in India requires CAD sales professionals in various cities in India.  Job involves sales and business development of IT Software Solutions (Mainly 3D CAD, CAE, PDM tools to the manufacturing industry).
Responsibilities:

  • A clear understanding of 2D. 3D, CAE software and Manufacturing Industry
  • Lead Generation through effective means including working through various databases, inside sales team and effective web marketing options
  • Qualification of suspects and prospects based on various parameters and working with right contact in the prospect organization
  • Understanding prospect needs and building a solution around the “benefits to the customer”
  • Working as a team member with technical consultants and building an efficient communication channel with company technical resources and prospect needs
  • Progressing the discussions towards sales closure and meeting all targets of each product line in time, every time
  • Managing the sales funnel through Sales CRM tools and providing all the required reports to the reporting authority from time to time
  • Managing time, resources and team as direct field professional
  • Owning the complete assigned territory and to ensure building quality sales funnel on daily basis

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Automotive Engineering or work experience in the similar domains. MBA in sales and marketing desirable.
  • Min 3 to 5 years of customer-facing experience as a Sales / Support Engineer or Technical Sales Consultant in the Technology Solution Sale.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to connect all audiences, from the user to the CEO level
  • Basic understanding of the product functionalities, product positioning and Prospect profile
  • Excellent listening qualities to understand customer needs and strategic thinking to create, influence, and drive the sales with right solution built around “customer benefits”.
  • Excellent documentation skills to help technical consultants understand right approach to close the sale

Locations: Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Vadodara

For Pune location – 5+ years experience required
