EDEM Announces Executive Management Team Changes

EDINBURGH, UK, Mar 4, 2019 – EDEM, the market leader in Discrete Element Method (DEM) technology for bulk and granular materials simulation has announced changes to its executive management team with the appointment of Ian Williamson as Chief Executive Officer and Andy Bull as Chief Technical Officer.

Ian Williamson succeeds Richard LaRoche who has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer after 4 years in the role. Ian joined the EDEM team in 2008 to grow and manage the sales function and he took on the role of Chief Revenue Officer in 2015. He has served the Board of the company for over 10 years and has played a key role in driving the strategic development of the company.

Andy Bull joins the company as Chief Technical Officer and will help shape the future of EDEM technology and support the company’s vision. Andy is an experienced leader with 30-years of product design, development and management experience from the Oil Exploration industry.
