CADPower-GeoTools V 17.09 Update (Help, Support & Access to Information Improved)
While running the ‘Count Scale Factors’ workflow in the CP_BOM, it is now possible to add non-standard tile sizes into the INI file automatically with a cost of 0.0. This significantly reduces the effort to populate the INI file with the custom tile sizes. All you now need to do it to enter the cost information.
New command added: CP_MAINTENANCE: (CADPower -> More Options -> Maintenance/Housekeeping): The CP_MAINTENANCE command performs various kinds of maintenance and house-keeping for your CAD environment.
We begin this house-keeping series with a tool to quickly switch off CADPower & GeoTools toolbars. In AutoCAD, a quirky behavior switches on all toolbars from loaded partial menus when you change workspaces. This can be manually switched off each time using CP/GT_TOOLHIDE commands but a macro can do it faster and without too many keystokes. We offer this as the first in our house-keeping series.
The following house-keeping tasks are currently available:
- Create macro to switch off CADPower toolbars
- Create macro to switch off GeoTools toolbars
- Create macro to switch off CADPower & GeoTools toolbars
These are enabled by creating a CP_STARTUP.LSP [for CADPower] (or GT_STARTUP.LSP [for GeoTools]) file on-the-fly and adding the necessary Lisp statements to run the macro. If the startup file already exists, a warning is issued and an option to either overwrite or append is offered.
New command added: CP_BRICSYSTV: (Menu: CADPower -> More Options -> Bricsys TV): This is mainly for BricsCAD users. AutoCAD users who want to know more about BricsCAD are also welcome to look at it. You can now access Bricsys TV videos directly from within CADPower using this command. A list of available videos is presented and you can search through them using wild-cards, select and view them on youtube. Locating your favorite tutorial or concept video on BricsCAD is now much easier.
The complete path of the selected item is now copied automatically to clipboard so that it can be pasted directly in another location using Control-V.
