AMC Bridge Updates VR-Architecture for Android

WALTHAM, MA, USA, Nov 19, 2018 - Research of new technologies and their application in the field of engineering software is a key part of the AMC Bridge business model. That is why we are pleased to announce the new enhanced version of the AMC Bridge technology demonstration application, VR-Architecture for Android.

Major new feature for VR-Architecture for Android

The Walk mode is the newest feature that prototypes usage of a first-person shooter experience while exploring a 3D model of a building with Google Cardboard or VR glasses. It also allows moving the camera walking back and forth.

VR-Architecture for Android is a technology demonstration of the transformation of a hand-drawn floor plan into a 3D model, to be viewed in VR or exported to a 3D editor. It can recognize not only doors, windows, and walls, but also furniture.
